Fondant Cupcake Toppers

Order for cupcake toppers.  Can't wait to see what these look like when they are placed on the baked cupcakes, for that tiered effect! Hope my friend sends me pic of the final product!

Housewarming and Baby Shower cupcakes

What a crazy week it has been!  Three urgent orders, each with two days notice. Nearly killed me but I did have fun with all of them, as always.  Work is getting real busy as well and my cupcakes really give me some much needed "me" time.

My new boxes arrived as well and I'm really chuffed about them. Take a look at the pics below!!

"Thank You" Corporate Cupcakes

Received an order for a farewell.  Triple choc cupcakes with Swiss Meringue buttercream! Very positive feedback received for this that just put me on a high all weekend :-)

Leah's 1st Birthday

Off the back of the last penguin toppers order, I received an order for a cake for a 1st birthday celebration. The cake itself wasn't big enough for what I had in mind so i popped it on a larger cake board, and added everything else that couldn't fit on the cake, onto the cake board instead! Gotta admit I just love the pool where Daddy is fishing from.

Happy Birthday Leah!

Penguin Toppers

A colleague's daughter LOVES (yes, in caps) penguins. Her room has penguin soft toys as well! So mummy decided to surprise her by getting some fondant penguin toppers to decorate on her own cake.    She was kind enough to send me the completed product so here's sharing it with all of you!

Terence's 7th Birthday Cupcakes

A friend's nephew celebrated is 7th birthday and knowing he is a Doraemon fan, my friend ordered this for him. What a nice aunt! Apparently it brought a nice big smile to the happy birthday boy :-) I love hearing that!

Halloween Preview

Had some spare time tonight so made some Halloween toppers. Trick or Treat!

Cupcake for a Swimmer

Rock n Roll Hen's Night

As I am writing this post, a wild hen's night is in progress.  An order which came out due to the last hen's night I did (refer Strictly Adults), this order was a bit more tame, with only a quarter of the cupcakes to be adorned by the male organ. Hehe.  Naturally, they were used as the four pillars of the whole set!

The rest of the cupcakes were to symbolise the hen's interests.  A pole dancer who loves her dog, is into photography as well as rock n roll, I feel like I get to know people just through their cupcake orders!

Congratulations Bernie!

Makayla's 1st Birthday

My niece turned 1 last week!  As my sister kept reminding me, I have only one niece, so she demanded pretty cupcakes.  Was only told to make sure there are bees in the cupcakes (tho why, I am not sure since my niece obviously doesn't know what bees are).  So anyway, here's my garden cupcake, with cream grass instead of fondant this time!

As part of the party, there was a cupcake decorating session for the kids, so I  made some mushroom toppers.

Happy birthday darling xx

Strictly Adults - Hen's Night Cupcakes

The warning is all in the title!  If you are sensitive, please do not scroll down any further to look at the pics as they are quite graphic!

No words are really necessary for this post.  It's all in the picture and the details haha.  To be honest, I actually am quite proud of this piece. The hubby gave a big thumbs-up too.

MNC's APAC Marketing Conference Cupcakes

I loved getting this order.  When I got the call, I was really excited because 1) it was a brilliant order and nothing like what I've done before and 2) I used to work for this firm and have lots of good memories from there.

The directive:  11 cupcakes for 11 marketing ladies, here from across APAC, for their marketing conference.  Each cupcake is to be tailored to their individual likes/ interests. Kudos to their marketing boss for knowing what each of them likes.

The purpose:  Team- bonding.  As the ladies came from different countries in the region, they don't get to spend time with each other on a daily basis.  The cupcakes were used as a team bonding activity where the ladies got to know each other much better, learn about their likes and interests.  What a good way to break the ice 'cos who doesn't love cupcakes and how cool to see your own interest on a cupcake!

The feedback: Resounding success! The ladies were shrieking in excitement (I was told), and loved their cupcakes.  That just makes me so happy.
